All of us experience challenges from time to time, which might include intense emotional experiences, stories constructed in our minds that feel very real, or feeling stuck in life. It’s a normal part of being human, but it can be overwhelming. That’s why I’m here to provide you with a safe and supportive environment, where you can navigate through any difficulties you may be facing. I am passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life and I believe that every person has an innate wisdom waiting to be reminded of their worth and ignite the fire needed for transformation.
My approach is to collaborate with you, using an integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion. These techniques aim to empower you to tap into your inner strength and ignite the fire within, gaining insight and utilising your strengths to reach your desired goals. Together, we’ll explore and tailor interventions that work best for you.
I understand that embarking on a therapeutic journey can be daunting, but I want you to know that I am here for you every step of the way. I offer both face-to-face and online therapy where sessions are typically 50-60 minutes in duration. The number of sessions depend on your challenges and goals and will be discussed and decided with you during our first session.
If you feel comfortable, we can briefly discuss your needs and I can let you know whether I am able to assist you. In the event that I am not able to, I will be able to refer you to someone who can.
Fees
If it’s more convenient for you, I can claim directly from your medical aid, or you can make an EFT payment and submit a claim to your medical aid yourself.
Please contact your medical aid provider if you are not sure which services are covered under your scheme or how many sessions are covered. The same rate is charged for face to face and virtual sessions.
